Crash 31 | Our Story

A quiet leader with a knack for building great teams. Much more comfortable on the backside of a camera. Knows a story is powerful when he forgets to eat or sleep when editing. Jon loves his high school sweetheart, 4 daughters and long rides on his bicycle (especially when his first two loves are all talking at once).

With more than fifteen years as a graphic artist, give him PhotoShop and Mike can make burnt toast look good. Always aware of vibe, Mike's office is like time in a leather club chair listening to smooth jazz. If you want a spirited conversation, just bring up politics, guns or adoption.

Crash 31 was founded in 2007 by three brothers who have worked independently for many years in marketing, video, print and web production.

The name "Crash 31" is a metaphor based on the idea that a group of rhinos moving together at full speed are known as a crash. The personal connection for us comes from the fact that rhinos have notoriously bad eye sight and cant' see clearly past 30 feet. Instead of letting that limitation paralyze them, they group together and
crash into the unknown at 31 feet.

A quick study who loves new challenges and relentlessly pushing the edge of what is possible. Shaun is a guy who loves enjoying nature through mountain biking. His phone is full of pictures of his wife and baby girl.
